Lake Brombach has established itself during the last years as an attractive sailing area.

Lake Brombach covers 8.7 sq km and is therefore comparable to Lake Tegern. New and modern harbours with docking spaces in Ramsberg, Enderndorf, Absberg and Pleinfeld offer the best conditions for sailing.

Boat slips, boating cranes (only in Ramsberg), sanitation facilities and lodgings can be found at each location.

The new yacht club houses offer all kinds of comfort for their members. Numerous regattas and championships, sometimes even with international participation, show the popularity of the largest sailing area in Northern Bavaria.

Additional attractive sailing opportunities exist also at small Lake Brombach, which is a 2.5 sq km barrage lake of the Lake Brombach. Sailing facilities are in Absberg and Langlau.
